Changes Made To Downtown Merchant Parking In Darien
Among the issues was how to consolidate the multiple waiting lists for permits.
DARIEN, CT — Merchant parking in downtown Darien was reviewed by the town's Parking Authority this week in an effort to improve the system, reports the Darien News.
A focus of the review was how best to cull the multiple wait lists for parking permits for merchants and their employees and customers. Because there are multiple lists, the process of administering them has become difficult.
The authority elected to consolidate the lists in to one, and to issue them to building landlords only, who will then list who specifically will use the permits.
