Complaints Made About Reports to Darien Police Tip Line
Some have complained to First Selectman Jayme Stevenson about the tip line being used for vengeance against others.

DARIEN, CT- First Selectman Jayme Stevenson said that she has gotten complaints about the police department's digital tip line being abused by citizens to unfairly target others.
Stevenson said at a recent meeting that that she spoke to a concerned parent for an hour recently and asked police about the tip line being used to vengefully attack others, particularly kids, according to the Darienite.
Police Capt. Donald Anderson said police had a call-in tip line before the digital tip line and that system had more abuse with prank phone calls. He said officers do a good job of investigating tips, but not overreaching.
