Connecticut's Weekend Weather Forecast: Feeling Like Spring Finally

If you have outdoor weekend plans here's the latest details on the weather forecast for CT. Some big changes are coming this weekend.

A week before Memorial Day weekend in Connecticut and it appears we’re finally going to enjoy at least a week of spring weather. After smashing records for high temperatures the past two days in Connecticut, we’re headed for a significant cool-down that will make it feel more like spring than summer over the coming week.

The summer heat continues on Friday with sunny skies and temps in the mid to upper 80s and there is a chance for an isolated thunderstorm later today, according to the National Weather Service.

However, we can expect the weather to be more seasonal this weekend with plenty of sun and temps in the upper 60s to low 70s. Rain makes its return to the forecast on Monday. (SIGN UP: Get Patch's Daily Newsletter and Real Time News Alerts. Or, if you have an iPhone, download the free Patch app.)
