Considerable Shuffling Within Top 10 Of Latest Field Hockey Poll
The top two teams from last week remained intact, but the next eight shifted positions in the most recent poll of field hockey coaches.
CONNECTICUT — For the second straight week, Darien was the unanimous top selection of all seven coaches voting in the weekly Connecticut high school field hockey poll. New Canaan maintained its spot in second place.
Here are the top 10, with first-place votes and last week's ranking in parentheses, as well as all other programs receiving votes.

- New Canaan (lw: 2)
- Staples (lw: 4)
- Hall (lw: 5)
- Guilford (lw: 3)
- Valley Regional (lw: 7)
- Wethersfield (lw: 6)
- Greenwich (lw: 10)
- Pomperaug (lw: 8)
- Thomaston (lw: 9)
Also receiving votes: Old Saybrook, Joel Barlow, Ridgefield, Stonington, North Branford, Farmington.
