Contents From Purse Stolen In Orange Found In Darien: Police

Suspects were seen at an office complex on Parklands Drive

DARIEN, CT — The contents of a stolen purse out of Orange were discovered in an office building parking lot in Darien on May 8, which has led to three police departments launching investigations into the matter.

Several store rewards cards and AAA membership card were reportedly found just before 6 p.m. in the Parklands Drive parking lot, according to Darien police.

"Through investigation, it was found that the cards belonged to a Milford resident who, when contacted, reported that her purse had been stolen from an office building in Orange, CT earlier on 05.08.2017," wrote Darien police in a statement. "It was further reported that the victim’s credit cards had been used in Norwalk and on-line during the day. Both Norwalk and Orange PDs have opened investigations into this matter."
