Controversy over the new proposed Boy Scout shack on West Avenue

Out of control Tag Sales

The new proposed boy scoutt shack is not what the Boy Scouts need. The amount of noise and traffic over the years has increased and the tag sales have become way too large for the street. Many neighbors are upset with the proposed cabin being 8000 square feet and the thought of larger tag sales not only will be an eyesore of tents for months of preparation concerns of wet land distruption, endangered species, and the lack of of green space in Darien. The boy scouts do not need an 8000 square foot buildings and the donations/ tax free income raised doesn’t need and shouldn’t be used to purchase Darien real estate next to the existing cabin. What happened to what the Boy Scouts motto. They are disrupting the environment and killing our endangered species. The leaders must be stopped, what are they thinking??? September 5th town Hall meeting for the wetlands.
