Darien 2021 Summer Paving Schedule Released

Travelers are asked to avoid these roads if possible during work hours or use extra caution if they must travel on them.

DARIEN, CT — The Department of Public Works released town's paving schedule for summer 2021 this week, which includes dates and locations where work will take place.

According to a news release, the paving schedule is as follows:

According to the department, preparatory work will precede paving on all of the above roads. The dates listed above include milling and paving. Road surfaces will have raised structures during these dates.

Emergency access will be available at all times, and Darien police will be present to direct traffic and assist area residents during construction. Driveway access will be limited during paving operations, however no single driveway should be closed for more than an hour.

On street parking will be suspended during paving operations. Minor traffic delays are likely, and residents are asked to plan their travels accordingly.
