Darien Arts Center Promotes Three Black Belts
Juliette Dixon, Thomas Hall and Finley Wetmore were recently promoted to black belts in Kempo Karate at the Darien Arts Center.

Juliette Dixon, Thomas Hall and Finley Wetmore, after many years of dedication and perseverance, were recently promoted to black belts in Kempo Karate at the Darien Arts Center.
The DAC students have trained with senseis Bonnie and James Gombos for the past 7 years and in addition to fulfilling all the physical requirements, they have acquired a good understanding of what it means to be a black belt: mental discipline, respect, determination and patience.
The three new black belts are ready to explore a new level of martial arts and will help guide their young disciples in the program at the DAC.
