Darien Barber Shop Burglarized

Employees from Johnny’s and Company barber shop reported a burglary where cash was stolen.

Employees arrived to open the store around 9:30 a.m. May 22 and noticed fresh pry marks on the front door and frame, according to police.

The owner reported that more than $400 in cash was taken from a lockbox. Nothing else was taken.

There were no other reported burglary or larceny incidents in the building.

Employees left the business at 7:30 p.m. the night before.
