Darien Blue Wave Football Car Wash Scheduled For Aug. 28
The car wash will support the football program, as well as the local nonprofit Person to Person.
DARIEN, CT — Come out to Darien High School this weekend and get your car washed, all while supporting the DHS football team and a local nonprofit.
The Darien Blue Wave football team will host a car wash on Aug. 28. from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., rain or shine. The cost is $10 per car.
The team will also be collecting non-perishable food donations, which will be delivered to Person to Person on Aug. 29. Person to Person is based in Darien, and has a mission of providing individuals and families with assistance for basic needs to overcome daily challenges and giving access to resources to improve their lives.

Funds from the car wash will go to support the Blue Wave Football program, such as providing training equipment, uniforms and meals for away games.
