Darien BOE Approves Education Association Contract
The new contract will last for three years and includes changes to teacher step compensation.
DARIEN, CT—The Darien Board of Education approved a contract with the Darien Education Association.
The new contract will run from July 2017 to June 2020. Salary steps have been restructured to keep them more constant, according to the Darien Times.
Teachers will be reimbursed for $300 per credit hour up to a maximum of six credit hours.
The next step comes when town budget talks start.
