Darien School Board To Receive Update On Hindley, Holmes, Royle Projects
The board could approve the final plans and project manual as prepared for bidding.
DARIEN, CT — The Darien Board of Education is slated to receive an update and possibly take the next step on the Hindley, Holmes and Royle renovation projects.
According to the agenda for Tuesday night's school board meeting, the board could act on three separate motions to approve the final plans and project manual as prepared for bidding, and the professional cost estimate for phase 1 electrical procurement.
Last month, the board unanimously approved design development documents and budget estimates associated with the school renovation plans. Work includes removing portable classrooms that have been at the school buildings for years, and redoing other interior areas.
