Darien Brownie Troop Earns Badges For Clean Up Effort

Brownie Troop 50210 rolled up their collective sleeves over the weekend to help clean up after the Tokeneke Pumpkin Carnival.

DARIEN, CT — Following this past weekend's Tokeneke Pumpkin Carnival, the Tokeneke second grade Brownie Troop 50210 earned a Community Service badge for their clean up efforts.

The girls all came out with their families in the rain with trash bags and gloves and cleaned the entire parking lot and the fields, according to organizers.

"There was a lot of leftover trash but with so many people working together the task was finished quickly and they had fun doing it," wrote Darien resident Jodi Sorrells in a statement of gratitude. "Thank you Troop 50210!"
