Darien Business Has Liquor License Temporarily Suspended
The business also paid a $500 fine, according to Liquor Control Commissioner Michelle H. Seagull.
DARIEN, CT — Sipstirs Fine Wines Artisanal Spirits Craft Brews, which is located at 1053 Post Road in Darien, will have its liquor license temporarily suspended on Jan. 9 for two violations, according to the State of Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection.
Liquor Control Commissioner Michelle H. Seagull said Sipstirs violated the following statutes:
- 30-6-A41: Restrictions on sales and purchases by permittees; donations
- 30-76: Purchase for resale
Seagull said Sipstirs has paid a $500 fine as part of the violations.
