Darien Chipotle Restaurants Get Poor Health Ratings

One restaurant didn't cook chicken to the right temperature, according to the health department.

Two Chipotle restaurants in Darien were rated ”poor” by the Darien Health Department during inspections.

The location at 71 Post Road was cited for not providing proper documentation of training, rice not being kept at the proper temperature and not properly sanitizing cutting boards, according to the Darienite.

The I-95 rest stop location was cited for chicken not being cooked to a high enough temperature and other violations.

Recently Chipotle has been linked to E. Coli cases in states including New York, Oregon and Washington. Some restaurants were temporarily closed.
