Darien Coronavirus: Dozens Locally Offer Food Take-Out, Delivery

Dozens of Darien food establishments are offering take-out, curbside delivery and/or home delivery during the COVID-19 outbreak.

DARIEN, CT — Dozens of local food establishments are offering take-out, curbside delivery or home delivery for residents during the new coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, Darien officials announced.

Restaurants and bars have been ordered by Gov. Ned Lamont to temporarily cease dine-in service in an effort to help stop the spread of the virus. But residents are permitted to go pick up food or have it delivered.

As of Tuesday, Connecticut had 68 confirmed cases of COVID-19, 48 of which are in Fairfield County, state officials said. Of those 48, 20 are in Westport.
