Darien Democrat Randy Klein Nominated to Face State Rep. Terrie Wood
Wood, the incumbent Republican, is seeking a fifth term in the 141st District, which covers Darien and the Rowayton portion of Norwalk.

DARIEN, CT - Randy Klein, former chairman of the Darien Democratic Town Committee, received his party's nomination this week to face off against incumbent Republican state Rep. Terrie Wood for the 141st District post Wood has held for four terms.
Klein is the husband of former Darien First Selectwoman Evonne Klein and the owner of Norwalk-based limousine company Drivers Unlimited. Evonne Klein is currently Gov. Dannel Malloy's Housing Commissioner.
The 141st District covers Darien and the Rowayton section of Norwalk, and is largely Republican, writes The Hour, so Klein will have his work cut out for him.

Wood also received her party's nomination this week. She currently serves on the General Assembly's Human Services Committee (where she is the ranking member) and the Regulations Review and Finance, Revenue and Bonding committees, according to her state House bio.
Among his priorities, if elected, will be improving education and transportation in the state, in addition to making Connecticut a more business-friendly state.
