The single biggest issue in town is ______, and I plan to do this about it:

With every challenge and there is opportunity. I intend to work with others in Darien government to continue to build an environment assuring complete transparency and full collaboration toward fulfilling our combined responsibilities to our neighbors and the town.

Critical differences between me and my opponents:

Based upon their responses to the League of Women Voters, all candidates appear to be qualified for the task ahead. I look forward to working with each of them.

Accomplishments:

I possess leadership skills developed literally under fire while in the Service, technical expertise as a certified public accountant, problem-solving skills from serving in senior management of multinational firms and a multi-decade career developing the maturity to combine the foregoing into a cohesive whole. As a footnote, in town, I've also served as Treasurer and Board member for The Middlesex Club and Country Club of Darien.

What else would you like voters to know about you?

Henry Wolcott and his wife and children arrived in America in 1628 and were one of eighteen families to begin to settle Connecticut. Some 13 generations later, my family and I were transferred from California back to Connecticut for a limited tour of duty with my CPA firm. However, after experiencing life in small town New England, we decided to stay and have never regretted that decision. I am truly pleased to again serve Darien to help preserve those qualities that have contributed immeasurably to our lives.
