The single biggest issue in town is ______, and I plan to do this about it:

Flooding. The Board of Selectmen are responsible for bring forth potential solutions. The Board of Finance must vet these based on scope and affordability.

Critical differences between me and my opponents:

There are no critical differences, as this is an uncontested race.

Accomplishments:

Years ago, I testified before the Department of Public Utility Control to counter our water company's proposed 21 percent rate increase. The final increase was less than 10 percent. I pushed to negotiate debt when rates were low to save the town money. Together with Joe Warren, I helped initiate a program for tax relief for the elderly.

Other issues:

Local control. Work to fend off Hartford's tendency to offload their expenses onto Fairfield County.
