Darien Fire Truck Hit in DUI Crash: PD
The intoxicated operator damaged the fire truck, police said.

An officer observed a vehicle turn into the eastbound lane of the Post Road from exit 11 on I-95. It was driven close to the curb, police said.

The vehicle struck a fire truck's bumper near Mansfield Avenue, police said. The fire truck's front siren and other parts were damaged and the total amount of damage is still being determined.
An officer pulled the vehicle over and operator Lisa Charney, 53, of Norwalk failed a field sobriety test, police said. Breath tests came back with results of .1924 and .2066, both more than double the legal limit.
She was charged with DUI, improper turn and failure to signal properly.
