Darien Girls Volleyball Sweeps Bridgeport Central

The Darien girls volleyball team turned in its most dominating performance of the season Friday.

The Blue Wave lost only 18 points en route to a 25-7, 25-4, 25-7 victory over Bridgeport Central that improved their record to 12-0.

Dina Preston had 18 service points, eight aces and 17 assists to lead the way for Darien. Kelly Kosnik added 12 service points, one ace and six kills while Riley Sousa chipped in with 12 service points, 10 aces, five kills and three assists.
