Darien High Art Department to Benefit from Sold Artworks

A local artist is donating a portion of proceeds from art sales to the art department.

Local artist Tina Duryea will donate a portion of proceeds from sold artworks to the Darien High school art department.

Duryea recently retruned from a painting trip to Umbria and Rome and will sell them through Kirby and Company. She is a Darien High graduate and came up with the idea while brainstorming with high school interns.

The show will culminate with a party on May 28 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Kirby and Company at 1029 Post Road.
