Darien High Lockdown Over After Unfounded Threat

A menacing note was found in a bathroom Friday afternoon.

DARIEN, CT — A lockdown at Darien High School was lifted Friday after an unfounded threat was discovered in a boy's bathroom.

The message was found around 12:30 p.m. that read, "gonna shoot the school per. 6 B ready," according to the Darienite.

A lockdown drill was initiated and police evaluated the situation before the lockdown was ended. The lockdown lasted about 20 minutes, according to the Darien Times.
