Darien High Scantron Machine Reported Stolen
The machine is worth thousands of dollars, but would have little value to anyone outside of teachers looking to grade tests.
DARIEN, CT—A $4,700 Scantron test grading machine was reported stolen from Darien High.
Staff first noticed the machine missing June 13 from a teacher's lounge, police said. Administrators were confident the machine would resurface and spent time looking for it, but it has yet to be found.
The suspected theft was reported to police July 18. It would have little value to anyone other than teachers looking to grade tests.

Surveillance video didn't show anything unusual in the area.
