Darien High Students Held Marijuana Transaction at School: PD

DARIEN, CT- Two Darien High School students were charged after a marijuana deal was allegedly conducted in a bathroom.

A teacher overheard two students talking in a school bathroom and believed it was about the purchase of marijuana, police said.

The male juveniles were identified and police interviewed the two students. Both admitted that the deal was $40 for four bags, police said.

A total of 6.1 grams was seized. Text messages on phones corroborated the story, police said.

The 15-year-old seller was charged with possession with intent to sell. The buyer was charged with possession of marijuana, police said.
