Darien HS Students Win First Place At Cybersecurity Competition
The competition was held in late March at Sikorsky in Stratford.
DARIEN, CT — Four Darien High School students took first place at Lockheed Martin Cyberquest, the annual cybersecurity competition for high school students.
Seven DHS Programming Club members competed in two teams on Saturday, March 24 at Sikorsky in Stratford. There were teams from other high schools in Connecticut and New York.
The Blue Wave team of Pasquale Hoffman, Reagan Little, Anoushka Muchhal and Nathan Camporeale won first place, while the Blue Dot Wave team of Aiden Younessian, Michael Lui and Brady Eldredge competed well as first year participants.

Faced with a wide range of scenarios, teams compete in as many as possible during two half hour periods, according to a news release.
Challenges include web-based attacks, Windows & Linux privilege escalation, capture & log analysis, steganography, cryptography and reverse engineering by extracting knowledge or design information.
