Darien League Of Women Voters Hosts 2 Candidate Events, Oct. 19 & 24
The first is for the Board of Ed candidates, and the second is for candidates for First Selectman, Bd of Selectmen, Bd of Finance and P&Z.
From the Darien League of Women Voters: DARIEN, CT — On two separate evenings during the next few days the Darien League of Women Voters will host an opportunity for the community to meet and question candidates running for municipal offices in Darien.
On Thursday October 19 the League will sponsor a forum at Darien Town Hall Auditorium featuring four candidates running for the Board of Education. The program begins with a reception at 7:00 p.m. followed by debate and discussion.
On Tuesday October 24 the program, also at Town Hall Auditorium will begin with a reception at 6:30 p.m. followed by separate debates by the candidates for First Selectman, Board of Selectmen, Board of Finance and Planning and Zoning Commission.

The audience will have an opportunity to submit questions on topics of interest either in person or online. Both debates will be facilitated by a trained moderator.
