Darien Man Charged with DUI After Speeding: PD
The man was going 54 mph in a 35 mph zone on the Post Road, police said.
DARIEN, CT — A local man was charged with DUI after police initially pulled him over for speeding, according to police.
An officer saw a Toyota Corolla going 54 mph in a 35 mph and pulled it over. Operator Syed Abidi, 26, smelled of alcohol and failed field sobriety tests, police said.
His BAC levels were .1064 and .0951, according to police.
