“Ticket presales are a great way to get right to the fun after the parade. We’ve been finding when you have young children in strollers - kids who are excited to get to the action - it’s hard to wait on line, so this way you can ease right on in,” said Gayle Close, co-chair of ticket sales for the Post 53 Food Fair. “We’ve worked with the Town and many generous local retailers who have kindly allowed us to set up ticket sales outside their stores. Their assistance has been tremendous – you’ll see our Post 53 volunteers all over town in the next few weeks. We want to give a big thank our retail partners for their support.”
“This is also a great way for the folks in town to support Darien EMS-Post 53, recognizing that the Food Fair raises needed funds to pay for the important resources Post 53 requires to do the work the community relies on every day,” Close continued. “We hope when you see tickets on sale, you’ll take a moment to support us, and then come by on Memorial Day to enjoy the fun!”
