Darien '17 Election Results: Stevenson Racks Up Another Victory
Incumbent Republican First Selectman Jayme Stevenson just keeps winning and winning, as do Darien's Republicans.

DARIEN, CT — Republican incumbent Jayme Stevenson easily won re-election to a fourth term as Darien First Selectman Tuesday, defeating Democrat Rob Richards by a better than 2-to-1 margin, according to unofficial results from the Connecticut Secretary of State's Office.
Stevenson, whose popularity in town appears to know no bounds, captured 71.84 percent, or 2,470 votes, compared to just under 950 votes for Democratic challenger Rob Richards.
She will be joined on the Board of Selectmen by fellow Republicans Charles Koons and Susan Marks. Additionally, Republican candidates for the boards of Finance and Education also again won rather handily Tuesday.
