Darien In Need Of Poll Workers For Election Season

Poll workers are needed in Darien for this year's primaries/election.

DARIEN, CT — The Darien Registrars of Voters are seeking poll workers for this year's election season.

A presidential preference primary will take place on April 2, there is the potential for primaries in August, and the election is slated for Nov. 5. This is also the first year for early voting in Connecticut, and those days need to be staffed.

All Darien poll worker roles are paid positions, earning higher than Connecticut’s minimum wage of $15.69 an hour, a recent newsletter from the town said.
