Darien Officer Graduates From CT Police Academy
One of Darien's newest officers will now participate in a comprehensive field training program for several months.
DARIEN, CT — One of Darien's newest police officers has graduated from the CT Police Academy in Meriden, according to the Darien Police Department.
Madison Robotti graduated along with 35 other classmates who represent 22 police departments around the state. Robotti will now participate in a comprehensive field training program for several months.

Robotti joined the DPD in December 2024.
Born and raised in Stratford, Robotti graduated from Bunnell High School in 2017.

After high school, she attended Sacred Heart University and played for their club softball team before transferring to University of Massachusetts Amherst where she graduated in 2021 with a bachelor’s degree in psychology, the DPD said in a previous social media post.
Robotti obtained her master’s degree in legal and forensic psychology from Marymount University in Arlington, Va. where she graduated in May 2024.
While in her master’s program, Robotti was a member of an honor society through the Department of Homeland Security and also completed a summer internship with Newtown Police Department, the DPD said.
