Darien Police Announce Summer Internship Program
The department said the program is designed to give participants practical insight into law enforcement operations.

DARIEN, CT — The Darien Police Department is offering a summer internship program that provides educational and practical experience in law enforcement.
The program includes hands-on experience, department-wide exposure and the opportunity to earn college credit, according to information released by the department.
Applicants must be at least 18 years old and enrolled in a college or university in good academic standing. The internship must qualify for college credit, and applicants are required to submit a verification letter from a college coordinator. A background investigation must also be successfully completed.

Interested candidates must submit an application, resume and personal statement by May 1.
