Darien Police Blotter: Violation of Restraining Order, Skateboarder Flees Officers

DARIEN, CT—Recent news from Darien Police.
- A 23-year-old was charged with interfering with police after he fled officers on a skateboard when they went to check on town hall after a burglary alarm was sounded. It's unknown if the man had anything to do with the alarm, but was charged because he didn't listen to officer commands to stop.
- A phone and Internet line was cut at Matsuri Restaurant when workers arrived Sept. 17. It made it impossible to take orders for the day. There were no signs of forced entry.
- Stamford man Marc Yuden was charged with violation of a restraining order after he contacted a protected party that works at the Melting Pot, according to police.
