Darien Police Bust Underage Drinking Party
Another anonymous online tip led to the party being ended and a summons being issued.

DARIEN, CT- Police issued a misdemeanor summons to a Darien 18-year-old after he allegedly hosted an underage drinking party.
Police got an anonymous tip online that an underage drinking party was taking place on Brookside Road April 2.
Officers spoke with the owners of the residence who said their son had some friends over and they were in the detached garage.

They found 17 teens were inside along with 30-packs of beer and red solo cups set-up on a table to play beer pong.
The 18-year-old said he didn't provide the alcohol, but admitted to knowing the teens were underage. He was issued a summons for failure to halt possession of alcohol by a minor.
