The Darien Municipal Animal Control Officer would like to remind you that June is dog licensing month.

The Darien Municipal Animal Control Officer would like to remind you that June is dog licensing month. All dogs six months old and over are required to be licensed in the town that they reside in. >Licensing is required by State law. >It ensures rabies compliance. >It gets stray dogs home quicker. >There are fines associated with failure to license. Licensing is done through the Town Clerks office at Darien Town Hall located at 2 Renshaw Rd. Spayed or neutered dogs are $8.00 per year. Unneutered and unsprayed dogs are $19.00 per year. Licensing runs with the fiscal year July 1st to June 30th. Any questions please call the Darien Town Clerks office at 203-656-7307 The Town Clerk is open Monday through Thursday 8:00am to 5:15pm.
