Darien Police Department Welcomes 3 New Officers

All three officers have prior experience in law enforcement.

DARIEN, CT — The Darien Police Department has welcomed three new officers into the ranks, according to the department's Facebook page.

Officers Abigail Frazier, Victor Munoz and Thomas Guerrero have all been sworn in by Police Commissioner Brent Hayes in recent weeks. They received their badges from Darien Police Chief Don Anderson.

Frazier comes to Darien from the Trumbull Police Department where she has worked since 2018.

"Frazier is a Trumbull native and was regarded as an exceptional and very active member of the Trumbull Police Patrol Division," the DPD said.

Before coming to town, Munoz worked for the New York City Police Department.

A Bronx, N.Y., native, Munoz has worked in the 44th precinct in the South Bronx for the last five years, the DPD said. He also worked as a New York Corrections Officer at Riker's Island and as a TD Bank customer service representative for over 10 years.

Guerrero, who is from Long Island, N.Y., also previously worked for the NYPD in the 102nd precinct in Queens, the DPD said. Guerrero has a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from St. John’s University.
