Darien Police Investigate Another Wave of Car Burglaries
In all cases the vehicles were unlocked.

DARIEN, CT—At least nine vehicles were burglarized early Monday, according to police.
Vehicles were entered on Georgian Lane, Lake Drive, Phillips Lane,, Echo Drive North and Hoyt Court. None of the vehicles were locked.
A total of $5.90 was taken from two vehicles on Lake Drive. A pair of prescription sunglasses was taken from a Hoyt Street vehicle; the owner last reported parking the vehicle on Sept. 16.
A Georgian Lane resident heard a car alarm around 1:30 a.m. Monday and called police after seeing a suspect near the vehicle. The suspect wasn't captured.
