Darien Police Look To Hire Crossing Guards

DARIEN, CT — The Darien Police Department is hiring crossing guards, according to a post from the town on Facebook.

"This is a GREAT position for someone who loves children and has a flexible schedule!" the town posting said.

Crossing guards work one day in the morning, and one in the afternoon, and monitor traffic and assilt children in crossing streets safely on a seasonal basis. The daily pay is $44.50.
