Darien Police Make DUI Arrest
Police responded to a report of a vehicle in possible distress.

DARIEN, CT—Police arrested a Stamford woman after police were contacted about a vehicle that was possibly in distress.
Darien Police went to the area of 120 Tokeneke Road Oct. 15 around 6 a.m. and found State Police already on scene. The trooper on scene said a motorist flagged him down about a possible vehicle in distress.
The operator appeared to be sleeping when police arrived, according to police.

Yvette Jimenez, 27, told officers she thought she was in Stamford. She had glassy and bloodshot eyes.
She failed field sobriety tests and officers learned she also had a suspended license. She refused to contact a lawyer at headquarters and refused a breathalyzer test.

She was charged with DUI, operating with a suspended license and failure to drive right.
