Darien Police Make DUI Arrest Following Crash
Another motorist swerved into the oncoming traffic lane in an effort to avoid the crash, police said.
DARIEN, CT—Police arrested a Greenwich woman afters he was involved in a crash while intoxicated, according to police.
The accident occurred Aug. 15 and police obtained an arrest warrant Sept. 30. Milagros Rivera, 56, turned herself in Oct. 1.
The accident occurred on Middlesex Road. Her vehicle crossed the double yellow line and another motorist swerved into the oncoming lane in an effort to avoid a collision, police said. Her vehicle sustained front-end damage while the victim's vehicle had back and side damage.

She was charged with DUI and failure to drive right.
