Darien Police Nab Heroin Dealer in the Act: Police

The Darien resident is being held on a $250,000 bond and police say they seized three bags of heroin.

DARIEN, CT - Police officers caught an alleged heroin dealer in the act and took custody of him Saturday and now the suspect is being held in lieu of a $250,000 bond.

Police said that over the past few weeks the Darien Police Department Selective Enforcement Unit developed information involving the sale of heroin in Darien.

Investigators determined that Kevin Grant, 25, of 20 Shady Acres Road, was in illegal possession of prescription narcotics, and conducted the sale of heroin in Darien during an incident that occurred in October of 2015, police said in a news release.
