Darien Police Officer Rescues Fawn: WATCH

DARIEN, CT — Darien police shared video on their Facebook page of Officer Stuart Schwengerer rescuing a fawn from a driveway last week.

The 35-second video is pretty amazing, especially about half way through when you see the officer holding the fawn.

You also have to love the hashtags police use including #bambi and #manyhats.

On the Police Department's Facebook page a resident shared the following comment.

"Ofc. Schwengerer, (Stuart), Thank You Thank You for helping the baby deer. You know I'm sure, I LOVE animals & appreciate anyone being kind to them....Thanks Stu!!!"
