Darien Police To Ramp Up Traffic Enforcement
The Darien Police Department said it has partnered with the Connecticut Department of Transportation on enforcement.
DARIEN, CT — Darien police will ramp up traffic enforcement this summer.
The department said it has partnered with the Connecticut Department of Transportation to target speeding and aggressive driving around town on a regular basis.
"Numerous additional officers will be working throughout the day and evening for the purpose of speeding enforcement and to target other associated motor vehicle violations that are known to cause motor vehicle accidents and endanger the public," police said in a social media post. "As a reminder we ask the motoring public to always drive safely, cautiously, and to obey all traffic laws."
