Darien Police Responded To 5 Reported Car Burglaries On July 24

DARIEN, CT — According to the Darien Police Department, officers responded to five separate reports of car burglaries in Darien on July 24. All of the cars involved were unlocked, police said.

On Allen O'Neill Drive, a resident told police she saw five or six people pulling on multiple door handles to cars in the area, police said, noting two unlocked cars were rummaged through.

Also on Allen O'Neill Drive, a resident reported a North Face backpack was stolen from a car, police said.

On Relihan Road, a woman told police her Lululemon cross body bag was taken from her car.

Elsewhere, on Great Hill Road and Laforge Road, police responded to reports of car burglaries, but nothing was reported missing from those vehicles.
