DARIEN, CT — Darien Public Schools will resume outdoor activities on Friday, such as athletic events, recess, picnics, moving-up ceremonies and field trips, according to Superintendent Dr. Alan Addley.

Addley sent an email to families late Thursday afternoon, saying the district continues to closely monitor air quality measurements.

"Please consult your child's pediatrician and/or school nurse with any specific health questions or concerns," Addley said. "Thank you for your understanding as we respond to this unusual phenomenon."
