Darien Public Schools Superintendent To Present Proposed Budget Jan. 2

The budget process in Darien will kick off after the new year.

DARIEN, CT — It's almost time for budget season again in Darien.

Superintendent of Darien Public Schools Dr. Alan Addley will present his proposed Fiscal Year 2026 budget to the Board of Education at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 2. The budget book will be published online that afternoon on the district website.

The meeting will be held in the administrative offices meeting room. Members of the community wishing to participate in public comment should join the meeting via Zoom.

Residents who want to view only should do so on YouTube.

"On Saturday, January 4, administrators will share details of their school and department budgets, and the Board will begin its review," Addley said in his recent communication to district families. "I look forward to sharing the full details in the New Year and encourage your participation in the budget process."

The Jan. 4 meeting will be held at 8:30 a.m. in the administrative offices meeting room.
