Darien Resident Takes Home Grand Prize From Scratch-Off

DARIEN, CT — A Darien resident recently took home a big cash prize after playing a scratch-off game, according to the Connecticut Lottery.

The anonymous resident won $50,000 after playing the Emerald 8s Extra Play scratch-off game. The ticket was purchased at One Stop Variety, 247 Connecticut Ave., in Norwalk.

The CT Lottery website notes the game costs $5. There are just four grand prize winners out of over 2 million tickets.
