Police issued summonses in the two separate cases.

Car Door Slammed
A Darien woman was issued a summons after she allegedly slammed a car door on a victim’s hand during a domestic incident.
The victim told police that the 51-year-old woman slammed a car door on his hand and leg at the YMCA parking lot on April 22. The two have children in common and a court order mandates that are exchanged at the YMCA.

The woman allegedly became argumentative and the victim tried to leave before things escalated, police said. She allegedly prevented the victim from leaving and slammed the car door shut. She left the scene after the victim said he would contact the police.
Officers noted the victim’s hand didn’t appear injured, but that he had a bruised knee.

The woman claimed that the victim opened the car door forcibly and she pushed back so she wouldn’t get hurt, police said.
She was charged with third-degree assault and disorderly conduct.
Laptop Argument Leads to Charges
Police issued a summons after a 40-year-old Raymond Street woman allegedly hurt a victim during a domestic incident.
Officers were dispatched to a Raymond Street home on April 20 around 5 a.m.
The victim told police he came home late and an argument ensued with the woman over various matters. She also objected to the victim taking a laptop from the upstairs bedroom.
She allegedly jumped on the victim’s back on the way down the stairs and caused scratch injuries to the victim’s cheek and right arm.
The woman told police that the victim came home late and barged into a bedroom. She tried to get the laptop away from the victim, but there were inconsistencies in her story, police said.
She was issued a summons for disorderly conduct and third-degree assault.
