DARIEN, CT- The Representative Town Meeting passed a $140.6 million budget which increases the town's mill rate to 15.77.
The tax increase is 2.74 percent, according to the Darienite.

The Board of Finance passed a budget on April 7, but then went back on April 18 to adjust for the assumption that the town would get no funding from the state.
Some capital budgets were cut during the April change, but they could potentially be added back in if the town received state funding.
